About Foundry Systems

Foundry Systems is a software studio founded in 2023 and based in Toronto. We design and build websites, web applications, mobile apps and AI-powered products for companies that need software delivered on a real timeline and budget.

We are deliberately small. Every project is led by someone who has founded, operated and sold software businesses, and who writes or reviews the code that ships. We do not resell outsourced teams and we do not take on work we cannot staff with senior people.

What we believe

• Scope is the product. Most software projects fail at the definition stage. We spend the first week cutting scope, and we put the result in writing before quoting.
• Working software over status reports. Clients see a live staging build every week from the second week onward.
• You own everything. Code, infrastructure accounts, domains and app-store listings are in your name from day one.
• AI where it earns its place. We build AI features with evaluation and cost controls, and we say so when a plain rules-based approach is the better answer.

Our own products

Alongside client work we build and operate Redline (AI architectural plan review), NextStep (decision intelligence for founders) and Lede Yoruba (Yoruba language learning). Running products of our own means we have lived through app-store reviews, scaling costs and support queues, and we bring that to client projects.
